  • Scott Samele is a 15 year veteran of tech marketing, specifically telecom, he has a breadth of interdisciplinary skills, including digital PR, messaging, offline / online events, social media (management, strategy and campaigns), blog strategy and writing, podcast production, SEO, microsites and micro-campaigns.
  • He provides marketing and business development counsel for B2B clients in the IT, Government and Telecom arenas; and B2C counsel for hospitality and pharmaceuticals
  • Scott’s telecom experience covers enterprise and carrier VoIP, SIP applications, Session Border Control, Unified Communications and hosted business services.
  • Prior to Calysto, Scott founded Tangelo, a hybrid PR firm that helps clients bring their offline content into the online world. Tangelo shows brands how to utilize social media to complement traditional PR programs. At Tangelo, Scott has worked with global technology firms like Metaswitch Networks, Endace, Sonus and SS8, as well pharmaceutical companies Helix Biopharma, BioNuetral Group and Echo Therapeutics.
  • Scott was the Client Services director of OVO, a branding consultancy, where he combined ideation, strategy, and project management for clients such as Zoove, Desert Biofuels, UTI and the Phoenix Art Museum.
  • Before joining OVO, Scott was a principal partner of Mavericks Group, a boutique digital marketing shop that managed integrated campaigns for hi tech clients, specifically in the VoIP space.
  • Scott likes meatball grinders, his mom’s spaghetti sauce, golf and world cup soccer.
