In-Stat –The In-Stat brand has been dissolved. All existing published products and services have been moved under DisplaySearch, an NPD Group company. In-Stat was founded in 1981 and acquired by NPD Group in 2011. The analyst firm specialized in the Digital Entertainment and Mobile Technology markets. 30 of In-Stat’s analysts have been laid off.
Yankee Group – Principal Analyst, Vince Vittore is no longer at Yankee. He’s taken a position as Manager, Analyst Relations at Cisco Systems. Vince had been with Yankee Group since April 2006. Before that, he was the Executive Editor of the now defunct Telephony magazine for 9 years.
Bloomberg News – Ragnhild Kjetland is no longer a reporter at the publication. His areas of coverage included telecommunications, technology, software, semiconductors, broadcasters and game companies for the news service. Prior to Bloomberg, Ragnhild was a banking reporter for Dow Jones Newswires. A replacement has not yet been named. Bloomberg has a total reach of 13 million views in print and online.
PCMag.com– Fahmida Rashid has joined PCMag.com as an analyst covering computer networking and security.
