James Brehm & Associates – As a major shareholder of Crossfire Media, Carl Ford will continue to support IoT Evolution and other Crossfire projects. However, he has joined James Brehm & Associates as a full-time Community Developer.
IoT Institute – The IoT Institute has merged with IoT World News—the news arm of the Internet of Things World conference series. This move follows the purchase last year by IoT World News’ parent company, Informa, of The IoT Institute’s parent company, Penton. Sue Troy has joined The IoT Institute as executive editor, where she writes and edits articles about the IoT ecosystem. Her most recent role was as editorial director of TechTarget’s CIO, IT Strategy and Channel Media Group, where she covered emerging technologies such as IoT, blockchain and AI.
Threatpost – Tara Seals is now senior editor covering cybersecurity at Threatpost – an independent IT and business security news site with nearly 700k visitors per month. Prior to joining Threatpost, Tara served as a freelance contributor for both SDxCentral and FierceWireless, as well as North American reporter for Infosecurity Magazine. She previously worked as editor-in-chief at vision2mobile and Billing & OSS World.
